Just had fish and chips from this premises and i won't bother again, the fish was overcooked and the chips had obviously been fried twice as some of them were burnt. Not cheap either 2 fish, chips, sausage, peas and gravy for £16.00. I would have gladly paid that if they were edible.
The food is nice, but the service was shocking. Not quite sure why the woman took such offence, as I was very polite and tried to speak clearly. She was lovely to the three customers she served before me. Maybe it was the accent, or the tesco uniform? I don't know. But I won't be back. Very uncomfortable.
Good food Pitty it's all wrapped in plastic. Took a bite of my fish in the car and it was great. Polystyrene wrapping ensured it was a bit soggy after 5 mins.
We got haddock and fries. Fresh and good quality. Check opening hour before the visit, they may vary. Fast service, would recommend.
Lovely fish and chips and not too much salt
Here is a tip for those wanting to visit Aberdyfi on an evening. Grab some fish and chips from here, really polite staff and excellent food, drive a few mins down the road and eat on the sea front. Or stand in the queue for the only chippy in Aberdyfi and wait for up to an hour!
Best chippy we've had in ages. Our Friday night fish and chips from Skippy's beat most gastropubs and restaurants hands down.
