I visited the UTC needing treatment to a wound on my leg. The whole experience from start to finish was made as easy and stress free as possible. The receptionists were welcoming and efficient, I was seen within ten minutes by a very polite, kind, and empathetic nurse. Every stage of treatment was explained fully and carried out with minimal fuss and no pain! Highly recommend, this was better treatment than I’ve had in some of the larger hospitals in the past. Thank you!
My husband went this morning his foot was swollen badly he couldn’t weight bare he had an ex-ray went back to see the dr he ask what pain killer my husband was taking then said ok goodbye and my husband is not one for asking questions so he came home no better off would not recommend.nSince I wrote this post we have come home I took him to our local hospital George Elliot Nuneaton and they said he’d broken his foot he’s now having treatment at last after walking on it in agony for a week
Wrong diagnosis by the old. He didn't listen to me What's wrong with me. She said I was talking too much. I just wanted to say what's wrong with me. And for him to make a good diagnosis. Not a nice personnel.
Had a nasty injury caused by my arm going through a window in a glass house. It was on the 7/7/23nI would want to thank the nurse for the care taken over three or four hours to stop the bleeding and dress one wound and to the lady doctor who stitched the large wound once the bleeding had been controlled.nThey did a great job and after a couple of weeks my arm is healing well for which I am so grateful.nI am not into sending pictures to show you what it is like now, but just wanted to say thank you to the two members of staff who patiently and carefully dealt with my injury and started me on the road to recovery.nThank you so muchnKind RegardsnDavid.nnDavid Garrad.nEast BarkwithnLN8 5RY
Recently came to Skegness on holiday, I am an insulin controlled diabetic who wears a sensor in my arm to read my blood sugars, I bumped my arm and the sensor came off, almost 1 week to go on my holiday and no means of reading my blood sugar, I called 111 who directed me to the emergency care unit. The staff were very understanding and super helpful, they had me sorted out within the hour. Well done to this NHS facility, first class care
