I bought a car from Sixers in good faith and no doubt paid over the odds for the vehicle. Still, It appeared to be in reasonable order, motd for a year and thought it would be a good buy. Wrongo! About 3 weeks after buying it the engine oil seemed to be disappearing at an alarmng rate I had to frequently top up the oil. Concerned, I took it back for them to inspect. They had it on the ramp,no fault found, added some engine additive to stop the oil depletion = we are not interested and go away. I had a local garage inspect the problem and he thought the pistons were worn. I understand there are risks in buying a used car, but the lack of interest shown by Sixers in my experience compels me to rate them so low. The car is waiting to be scrapped, having failed it's Mot on emissions and exhaust problems amongst other things. Too much money and hassle to repair. I would give this lot a wide berth and steer clear. I wish I had!

My family have been dealing with the sixers group for some time and at first they were faultless as a business we purchased a green ford focus that was a perfect car lasted for many years ( purchased from york avenue). But recently the business has gone downhill fast i have pesonally had 2 cars from them in the last year or so the first one a silver vauxhall astra bought for £1100 on the way home the car died and went into limp mode found out was the alternator which costed £300+ from the start and the garage only offered to pay half which i have recently found out is illegal. Then the exhaust sensors broke which was another £120 followed shortly after replaced the whole exhaust costing another £150+ then the radiator broke costing another £60 all the work was done by myself apart from the alternator so if it was done by a mecanic the costs will have doubled. Then finally the car died 6 months after purchasing it was a write off. So we went back to the garage last summer to try one more time thinking that this was a one off with another car. My mums partner also purchased a car with me that day so we went to safeway vehicle sales and I picked out a silver golf gti £1100 and my mums partner got a silver ford mondeo £2200 they looked pretty good but underneath they were just as bad the golf has had about £700+ spent on it and the mondeo is a write of so much has gone wrong my mums partner has had enough so currently we are about £5000+ out of pocket because of the sixers group and safeway vehicle sales. We have recently found out the company has lost a lot of its original staff so that might explain the drop in standards. The cars at safeway vehicle sales are basically the part exchange vehicles that customers bring in to the other two garages. They HAVE NOT been thoroughly checked over and the majority of cars a in a very bad state but safeway vehicle sales try to cover this up by cleaning them on the outside and jetwashing the engine bay but when a customer comes back to them with a problem they are very deflective as a company. So if you want a good reliable car stay away from SAFEWAY VEHICLE SALES.
