Food is still really good. Not sure about small kids being allowed to run riot on the pool table though, broken cue"s no chalk available, and none found for us even when mentioned to staff. Until mentioned again after finishing meal. Feels like the staff were under pressure.
It's a really nice place the food was amazing they were very welcoming and polite
From the moment we stepped in the door the staff were welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble even though it was a hot sunny day and they were full to capacity. We had pre booked a family of 8 people, service was spot on and the food arrived quickly, hot and tasty by a very pleasant waitress. The bar staff were exceptional and made us feel very welcomed. We were paying the bill for the family and my husband was pleasantly surprised with the bill. So good food, good service and good on the pocket a winner every time See you soon xx
Really nice atmosphere; friendly and attentive staff. Started with melting brie & mozzarella dough balls which are to die for!. Partner had the ultimate burger; cooked well & crispy fries. I had a stone baked pizza, which was gorgeous & fresh. Great quality. Extensive menu with loads options away from normal pub grub. Gordon's zero which always makes me smile that a pub is considering people who don't drink. 5 star!
We went here on the way home from a day trip. It was a beautiful day very warm. Thankfully inside was air conditioning and clean tables. Was seen to very quickly and the food wait was normal even though it got very busy after we came in. Food was delicious and had a great selection of drinks alcohol and no alcohol. The service was very friendly too. Definitely a lovely place to go.
Well… the main issue was not necessarily in the venue it’s self, rather the quality of the food was below what would be considered extremely low standard, particularly based on the prices sold at, and the overall aesthetics of the establishment which in itself was rather nice, particularly in comparison to other pub chains, so based on that an assumption was made that the quality of the food itself would be in some ways comparable to the quality of the establishment. Wrong! Very, very poor! cold, cheap, disappointing, processed, meat off cuts! McDonalds would have been a better option, quite literally! Not once was our table hosted, except when serving the food but the staff themselves were quite pleasant, but the overall experience is not one that we would entertain again.
Nice food, nice staff, nice family atmosphere. Plenty of space, not cramped, parking is really spacious, situated on main road so visible and easy to get to. We ordered through app and food came in a very timely fashion. Will go back and would recommend.
When we first arrived we stood and waited to be seated there was a member of staff stood at the side of us and didn’t welcome us or asked if we had booked a table a few minutes later a lovely lady came across and took our name and took us to our table. The food was perfect and delicious. We haven’t visited in a while and It was a shame the kids area had a table in there so the kids couldn’t play while waiting for food apart from the waiting around on arrival the service was impeccable. Thankyou for your hospitality.
Great staff nice Fresh food good prices warm welcome nice and clean
Food is pretty ordinary but the lady who works there makes it a nice place to visit. She was so kind to a disabled person and great with the grandchildren. Well done madam; you make 6 Halts a better place to visit.
