My partner and I go to situ regularly for coffee and breakfast. The food and staff are always outstanding! It’s always delicious food and the perfect amount to make you feel satisfied and nourished. The staff are always lovely and super welcoming! Definitely the best cafe to go to in the Penryn and Falmouth area. A friend and I went recently to a “chicken heads” night and we both agreed that, that was the best fried chicken we had ever had! We are looking forward to some more evening events at situ and some more regular breakfasts and daily coffees of course! :
Popped in yesterday for a quick bite to eat and was blown away by the food here. Next time I’ll make it a destination to try more dishes. The food has a southern Indian feel with many dishes being vegetarian but can also be made with meat if you wish, personally I enjoyed them just as they were. The flavours and variety were something else and all served with a smile by people who you can tell genuinely care about what they’re serving. This is definitely one to make a visit to if you’re in the Penryn / Falmouth area. 10/10 and they serve amazing coffee and cakes to a high standard too. More than just your average cafe but absolutely just worth the coffee and cake alone if that’s all you’re looking for.
We were staying in Falmouth and Situ was recommended by a friend. I am so glad we went. We dined in. It is probably the best soup I have ever tasted - it was the heritage dish - sweetcorn, spicy, eggs just yummy. Lovely and friendly people. The lassi was so good and I enjoyed an excellent americano to finish. I couldn't fault it and am surprised it is not better known in Falmouth - it is definitely worth the visit to Penryn.
Such a lovely cafe, my sister said her coffee was the best she had in Cornwall and also tried pea milk for the first time and really enjoyed it. We got a gluten free chocolate and caramel oat bar and it was SO GOOD!!
Located centrally. Really good ambience and friendly staff. Food was excellent- healthy, filling, and an alternate take on Indian food. The coffee was very tasty. We parked at the car park nearby and walked there. Would highly recommend.
