This is really a very average station. An average station, with a very average train service. Nothing fancy, but equally nothing particularly bad.nnAccessible ticket hall, with four ticket barriers; frequent fare evasion on the line means these are often manned, en-mass, by the revenue protection squad.nnThree platforms, two through and one terminal. Up, down and Sheerness. Not difficult to follow.nnSmall shop on the London-bound platform, vending machines and frequently closed toilets. Average.nnOverbridge with lifts. I miss the old overbridge; they should have kept them both. I saw it taken away on a truck. Scrap.nnCommuting here can be frustrating. Lots of little groups and individuals who think the world revolves around them. Like the rules of society don’t apply. Who, in their right mind, decides that the appropriate place to stand on an otherwise empty platform, at 6am, is right in front of the only other person waiting. Behave.nnAnyway. As I say, average. Nothing special.
Convenient town in Kent with a lot of development in 9 years recently. 45 mins to Canary Wharf so good to live
Nice clean station for small nice town. High street not bad. Just had short walk around before get my train. Btw big parking out of station.
Sittingbourne station is horrible i was in a rush tk get buy my ticket and the woman was moving slow and i missed my train.
