The cafe is in a really lovely location, the food is very nice and also comes with a really nice salad. The food came out very quick considering the amount of people inside. The food was on the expensive side, expect to spend £10+ a person. Dogs are allowed in!
Picked a quite day for once Foods always nice and the staff are loverly and if you pick the right table you can watch the birds feeding
Although a welcoming facade and a warm feel inside the service was shocking. Stood for 5mins at the front of the till just for the two staff one a physio apparently as she kept repeating to continue an absolutely random conversation while I stood waiting to get my family some lunch before setting off on our trail. Frankly the rudest staff I’ve encountered at a cafe. Forest lovely, but give the cafe a wide berth!

Waited awhile just for no food shocking only cat food left. Clueless staff don't even know what's left couldn't even be bothered to clean out table disgrace.
Nice clean airy, very spacious easy access .Very tasty food definitely don't skimp on filling . Would be better to have a comprehensive menu behind the counter as we nearly missed the fact they did breakfast or anything other than the cake and specials board menu. The menu is on the table, but as you don't tend to go to a table until you have made your order. That is the reason for 3 stars. Food is delicious.

Lovely tea and cake. Proper tea leaves, extra hot water without asking for it and delicious fresh coffee and walnut cake
Nice setting, good food. Parking is a little pricey but the walks are worth it. Had a great time hunting for a Gruffallo in the snow!
I love this cafe. Lots of nice food and cater for many dietary requirements.
