Parked in the carpark at Ford Park for £1 then headed up the stony path to the monument. Great short walk, but quite busy at the summit. We headed down a slightly different way making it a circular 1.5 mile walk. Great views at the top!

Amazing view over ulverston and beyond and nice hike up there.

I saw this marvelous white tower while on the way to the Barrow in Funes. Then I searched for it on Google Maps and followed the directions. I reached a dead-end road and stopped my car alongside the road because I didn't see a car park nearby. I walked to the tower from there. It was truly beautiful at the top and along the way. I love this place.

Great free activity, bit of a rough walk and can be steep in places, there is a longer less steep path round the back but find parking on Ford park quite convenient. Views are great too.

Very pleasant walk overlooking Ulverston, can be a little tiring but benches to sit off and admire the view are frequent
