Love this park. Nice size and plenty of space, grasses areas, lovely little lake and plenty of woodlands and walkways. Plenty of birds so bring your binoculars or camera and Bird food for the lake. They have a cafe and information centre and benches available in places to sit and enjoy. Paid car park available and walkway available to walk through the to a herb and greens outdoor shop and to Staunton Farm. Highly recommend a visit to this beautiful place Restrooms: Toilets were nice and clean when I visited
Beautiful. One of my most favourite places to visit. Lovely walks with lots of wildlife. Lovely little cafe. A little expensive but you can take your own food and have a picnic. Very clean toilets. Large carpark.
Beautiful park to spend time with family, relax and unwind. So much nature and beautiful plants to see. Restrooms: Clean and easy to access as you walk into the park Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly Picnic area: Picnic benches outside the cafe
Went in the depths of winter but despite this it was a really cool experience and place to see. The place is well maintained and if you go to the petting zoo/estate, you can claim your parking back. The parkland is large with lots of different trails to walk and being there in winter with the iced over lake is pretty cool too. The petting zoo was a lot of fun as well and the animals look well taken care of. Lots of cool art installations scattered about as well as plaques going over the history of various parts. A great afternoon out. Would recommend
There's so much to do here that it isn't entirely possible to spend the whole day exploring. On one side you have the paid area where you will find the farm, gardens and cafe. These are all brilliant, especially the gardens, which are stunning and well maintained! The farm is fun, and kids will love feeding the animals. We had a lovely lunch at the cafe which had lots of food options. On the other side you will find a lovely park which has stunning views and some estate walks. The walks are worth doing, but the signposting isn't always great. Parking isn't cheap, but just remember you are paying for the maintenance of the park.
Well kept, clean and tidy and pleasant atmosphere. Great for taking the dog out on a swift walk
Beautiful place to walk the dogs. Well maintained site with lots to see Restrooms: Found these to be very clean
Beautiful place. I went today with my 2 children age 10 and 2 and we had our dog with us . There was plenty of parking and the parking wasn’t that expensive. We went to the shop to get a trail for the kids, we paid £5 each for a teddy trail pack which included a very cute bear and we got some duck feed which was £1.20 a pack . There was a lovely park for the kids on the way round and a bridge the kids fed the ducks.there was some lovely historical info on the way round, we can’t wait to go again.
Love walking round here with the kids and dog. Lot's of friendly people also walking.
This is a nice park to relax and have a picnic. There is a small play area and lookout tower. A slope leads down to a lake, where there is an island which you can access via a bridge.
