It's like stepping back in time the area hasn't changed since my mum was a child she's 91 Simonburn has been used for lots of films and it's perfect for peace and quiet. The tearoom has a large garden well worth a visit lovely staff roaring fire as it was cool yesterday.Food: 5/5
Really nice little tea rooms, out the way in lovely surroundings. Outdoor eating area there also. Prices weren't excessive, food was nice and fresh and staff were friendly. Only gripe was when I ordered the scone with cream the cream was from a can.
Splendid tranquil relaxing garden setting. Tasty food at decent prices. Cakes we had for dessert were especially good. Service was speedy and staff helpful. Will definitely come back.

Stayed there with a friend whilst walking Hadrians Wall. What a superb place! The owners were sensational - so helpful and friendly exceeding expectations in every way. I will be back!
Brilliant. Cycling friendly and always a warm welcome. Good food and plenty of choice for drinks. Garden is delightful.
Beautiful garden to enjoy your food in. Excellent cake choice served with soft fruits and cream. Very tastey. And a good cuppa. All served with a smile.
Got here too late to order, but staff were lovely, gave me a bottle of water to go and it looks lovely. I'll be back on a sunny day. Been past several times without time to stop, I'm glad I checked it out and will be back within opening hours and with more time and be able to admire the garden.
Lovely setting and great welcoming staff. Cakes were light and tasty. Only minor gripe u would have was cappuccino was from packet and not true coffee. Still would recommend.
Nice spot, great outdoor seating area. Food good, reasonably priced. Staff friendly and helpful. Pro mcycle. Watch gravel car park if you are on a bike
