Fantastic selection of curtain material, pity the sales lady had poor customer service and didn't appear to want to make a sale. We had travelled from North Wales especially to visit Simon Boyd with the hope of selecting some curtain material. We have infact got an entire house to furnish. The sales lady wasn't interested in helping us at all. Pity, as we were keen buyers. We will shop elsewhere.
I cannot begin to say what fantastic customer service Simon Boyd at Knutsford provide. They are so knowledgeable of all the fabrics they stock and go out of their way to help you. I recently had extremely large curtains made and the pattern matching and sewing could not be faulted in any way. This was during the pandemic and they went out of their way to update me on both the progress of the delivery of the fabric and the actual making of the curtains once it had arrived. They also beat the prices I had been quoted online. I recommend everyone I know to use them.
The staff at Chester are amazing! They couldnt be more helpful. Joy goes above and beyond and it was a lovely experience with her and the other ladies yesterday. I'm truly grateful for their help.
The lady with blonde hair was very friendly approachable and nice, the posh old man was rude abrupt and unwelcoming. He had an attitude about him like he does not care for your custom in the slightest, very pompous and rude indeed. Also £130 for a curtain pole ... yes just 1 might I add. Nice materials and cushions I just didnt want to buy anything after the old man.
Just had kitchen,living room, lounge fitted with curtains blinds pelmets and tie backs cost £5000. At Chester Jo and Lorraine were helpful with a vast knowledge of fabrics and full of helpful information and advice. Carla visited and provided really good suggestions and liaised throughout her input was as good as it gets excellent. Dominic fitted the goods and was well on top of his job. Waited 10 weeks because the order books were full and having experienced the service not surprised. When I next need curtains I do not mind the wait if they maintain the standard I have experienced Thanks to all at Simon Boyd Jim Hollingsworth
Recently visited the Factory outlet and purchased some poles. Realising I didn't have the brackets - I went to our local store in Chester - ACE !! the staff were sooooo helpful , I only wanted a couple off brackets but these folks pulled out all the stops to help . GREAT service Great Products GREAT STAFF . Neil , thank you so much I would highly recommend a visit to these guys for anything curtain/fabric related - their product knowledge is awesome. Even if they don't have it , the advice is amazing .
Ordered 2 sets of curtains and told they would available to collect in 2 weeks. After 3 weeks I rang to chase up the curtains and was told they would be in soon. Chased them up after 4 weeks- same response. Nearly 5 weeks after ordering I went into store to see what was going on, I was told they would chase them up that day. 3 days later I received a call to say the curtains had been discontinued. No apology was made. Over 8 weeks since the order was placed and still awaiting refund.......
