I recently enlisted the services of Stephen Robbins of Gabbitas Robins and I couldn’t have been more grateful for his assistance. I have many year’s experience in the use of Solicators for various matters from criminal to corporate and I cannot recommend Stephen and his right hand man Robert highly enough. Stephen is a Solicitor of the highest calibre and helped me out in a difficult situation with only 24 hours notice from when I needed legal representation. I used Gabbitas Robins for the sale and purchase of my home move Aug 22 and right from the first call when I asked for a quote I found them to be friendly, polite and professional. Sophie Stratford was straight on the case, thorough in all aspects of both sale and purchase and despite having to deal with a rude and non responsive conveyancer remained calm, logical and professional. The most reassuring part was the seamless working as a team where colleagues step in to keep it moving forward when Sophie was on holiday. Due to an inept conveyancer who seemed to be on a different timescale to everyone else the last week before exchange was stressful. However, the team at Gabbitas Robins ignored the rudeness and pushed it through to exchange. Thank you to Stephen Robins too who stepped in when Sophie was poorly. Teamwork at its best! Stephen is absolutely the rudest person I have spoken to. So dismissive and arrogant, and given I was meant to be a client I have cancelled the instruction and will go elsewhere. 100% do not recommend.
I cannot recommend this firm enough. The most committed, dedicated and professional team you could ask for. Steven Robins and Margaret Furniss in particular as well as their respective teams are a cut above the rest and go well beyond the call of duty! My case had dragged on with incompetent Lawyer one after another until I was introduced to this firm who have restored my faith! All the staff have exceptionally high standards of professionalism and commitment and their in-depth knowledge of legal matters, from conveyancing to child matters is second to none. The team at Gabbitas Robins have stood with and fought for my family and I every step of the way, despite very late nights and work over weekend and holidays and we owe them a debt of gratitude. Terrible. Has taken 8 months for them to draft a very straight forward set of Wills and they are still not completed yet. They are currently not responding to my emails or answering my calls. Needless to say I have already paid them. Will not be using this firm ever again and would recommend others to avoid.
