There is one thing about this place, albeit a very good setting for a nice dinner, the issue is that the food is not real authentic Indian food. That said, we ordered vegetarian. It is sweet and what we'd refer it to as "modified for white people" the waiter that took our order was excellent and understood what I said and did his best to tell the chef and got at least half our order good. There are also very few veg dishes in contrast to meat. A restaurant is only as good as it's food gets and unfortunately, as a foodie and a top 10% reviewer, Simla didn't make the cut.
Tasty food. The service was speedy despite it being a busy Friday night. Very friendly accommodating staff. Lovely atmosphere. The only negative if i can call it, is the rear car park is very rough, a bit like the surface of the moon.
Ordered a takeaway to collect a couple of nights ago, staff were friendly, food was ready to collect and for the three of us eating we all said it was the best Indian meal we have had in ages. Absolutely delicious and good portions. Would certainly recommend!

Lovely food, friendly staff, clean and tidy, limited parking and is on the higher side for pricing but overall Kid-friendliness: Absolutely no problems having kids dine with you, staff recommended more child friendly option Parking: Limited numbers of spaces out front and then down the side of the building but very limited in number and as its on a busy main road I'm not sure where you would park if you couldn't get a space directly outside, certainly a negative point. Wheelchair accessibility: All on ground level and thinking remember seeing a disabled toilet in the entrance area Dietary restrictions: Dairy and gluten free diners in the party, staff advised what could and couldn't be had, don't recall seeing any allergy information on the menu though.
Great choice on menu , if you can't decide just ask a waiter , they have great knowledge and can help with your choice .Food: 5/5
Absolutely brilliant from entering the restaurant to leaving. The service was impeccable and definitely the tastiest Indian food I've had for a long time. I'm not local, but I was made to feel very welcome. Thank you for a memorable evening.
