Have visited here twice and enjoyed the visit both times. The staff at the entrance are friendly and the park is well maintained, no litter in sight. There is a duck pond, a large play park, a visitor's centre detailing the extensive history of the silent valley and the reservoir with interactive exhibits, and beautiful scenery across the seasons. I visited in the summer when there was a small music festival held and the park was very busy and once in the winter when it was a lot quieter.

Nice place for a walk, the scenery is great. There is a shuttle bus up to the top during the summer allowing you see the scenery without too much strain. There is an outdoor play park for kids as well. The wildlife is pretty tame too.

Love this place. Used to be up daily. Now though dogs running free, and dog dirt everywhere. There are signs asking for dogs to be kept on leads but not being enforced. Can no longer take the kids as guaranteed to have dog dirt on their shoes by the time you get back to the car. Ruined a beautiful place :(

Fantastic place! Took my lil niece and nephew. Not many places like this that isn’t spoilt by too many tourists.
