Popped in for lunch and were lucky to get a table given how quickly the Bistro filled up. All manner of deliciousness is available, we opted for panini - Tuna Mayo, Brie bacon and cranberry, both superb. Next time I’m in north Berwick, a beautiful town by the way, I shall be a returning customer.
Brilliant food. The breakfast is amazing. Couldn't fault the service and even though it's a small room, the atmosphere is great. Really friendly place. Would definitely recommend.Food: 5/5
My partner and me went for a meal this evening and i had the homemade steak pie, it was delicious and meat perfect, and my partner had the curry, he said it was lovely, then for deserts had the panacotta, well just delicious. The service was excellent and very attentive, thankyou.
Great tasting food and they place had a generally good feel to it, but the tables are a bit too close to one another. That's not enough to stop me going back again, though.Food: 5/5
One star is for the service. Waitress was nice and professional. No stars for the food. Partner send the breaded haddock back twice because it was pre-fried and burned after refrying. Finally left without diner. Bad day in the kitchen? Not enough staff there? No clue but do not recommend
Came Fri lunch time after 1, one table with people all rest available. I approached waitress and asked for table for 2, she said sit anywhere. We sat down, girl came over asked what we wanted to drink, asked for 2 half pints lager shandy, she asked what food, but we hadn’t even looked at menu or got our coats off so we said we need to look first. She came back with drinks, wasn’t a shandy as too strong, not enough lemonade in either. Was going to tell her but changed my mind. We sat a while and she never came over to take our food order, place was empty so I couldn’t understand why. I kept looking over to bar and eventually one of the 3 girls came over. We ordered and waited till it came. After eating our plates lay for a while. I ended up with other lager as daughter didn’t enjoy it . Usually staff do come over and ask if alls ok and do u want another drink, absolutely nothing from any of them. I ended up going up to bar and asking for bill, all 3 of them standing doing nothing. We left and noone even said goodbye. I left no tip which isn’t like me but not one of them deserved it. Customer service training is needed. I will not return or recommend anyone going !
The place looked amazing and friendly. We were seated in a lovely sunny corner. Placed a food and drinks order which was fine. Food was too basic and bland and my main never arrived ? No one came near us once food got put down so we tried to grab someone to ask when the rest of our food would arrive ? So once they came to clear our plates and ask if we wanted the bill! Not dessert or a other drink I mentioned my food never showing up. She said of right do you want it now???! Not the best
Popped in for breakfast, really tasty full breakfast. Nice wee place inside. Lovely staff. Good coffee.Food: 5/5
First impressions are very good, we arrived for our 2 night stay at no12 hotel and bistro, nice check in with a friendly welcome, up to our room no 4 and very impressed, lovely large comfortable bed, large room with lots of space and nice decor to the room and fantastic bathroom, totally impressed, you get a real nice vibe at this hotel, totally recommend
A smaller menu that some places but the food has been excellent on the multiple times we have visited.
