We had fabulous meal in Sid's Spice with great service, super tasty authentic asian food and great presentation in a clean environment - the plates were totally clean after we finished them too - recommend the Gujrati Shabzi and def the Chicken Tikka with the South Indian Garlic Chilli curry - YUM YUM!
Voted the 2nd best Indian restaurant in the whole of Scotland!! Quite rightly deserved. I've eaten in some of the best Indians around ,from Manchester, Yorkshire, London. The food here is markedly different from any other I've tasted. Delicate, aromatic, full of flavour and beautifully presented. The staff have attention to detail, especially hygiene. Great place to eat. You should definitely give it a go ! Enjoy.

We were staying in Brora at the Caravan & Motorhome club site. After a train trip from Brora to Wick and back. We decided to visit Sid’s Indian restaurant facing the platform at the station. Always apprehensive trying new Indian restaurants, as over the years I have had many disappointments. Not this time the food and service was excellent. One of the best curries I’ve had in a long time. Newly refurbished and it looks lovely, has clean lines and pleasing decorator. I complimented the manager on the new decorator and excellent food. The chef came out from the kitchen to thank us and at the same time checking the the other customers were also happy with their meals. I would Highly recommend this restaurant. Can’t speak for the takeout but, my husband & I loved the food we had. On a final note no dry mouth in the morning. I’m thinking only great fresh ingredients, but no official confirmation on that statement it’s just my opinion. I wish this restaurant was my local I’d be going regularly. Thank you Sid’s.

I am from Texas, USA. I stayed in Scotland for six months. I had never tried Indian cuisine before and Sid’s Spice was recommended to me by a friend who knew a good restaurant when they went to one. I am so glad I tried Sid’s Spice. I ate here a total of three times—each visit being better than the one before. I couldn’t express how much I enjoyed Sid’s food. It was absolutely amazing! Indian cuisine is now my favorite. On the third and last visit I had a Vegan dish with mushrooms pictured below. Now it may seem odd, but when I took the first bite, I literally had tears in my eyes. It was one of the best things I had ever eaten—cultured layers of spices exploded in my mouth. It was so delicious. Aside from the food, the owner, Sid, was absolutely one of the kindest restauranteurs I’ve met. The setting was really modern yet I felt like I was somewhere in India. This restaurants definitely a must try.
staying at the caravan site at Brora and on the way back decided to stop for a take away at Sids Spice, I can honestly say both the wife and I agreed this was the best Indian food we have eaten in a long long time. The food and service was 1st class and if anyone is thinking of going just go you wont be disappointed at all, Many thanks Sid`s spice
Had a take out from here while on holiday as it did vegan options the best indian food we have had for a long time hot big portions good value for money even had left overs for supper next night would definitely use again if in area Sean,kaye from county Durham
The food was absolutely fantastic. Very hot and flavourful. Can't flaw the food at all. Service was very slow, took about two hours and we only had start and main. We weren't in a rush so didn't mind really, nice atmosphere and the staff are friendly. Note there is a 10% service charge added to your bill.
The food was amazing best food I ever had the sauce was great to dip in my starter and the staff were really kind
