In my personal opinion this place is the best in Bromyard for a Chinese takeaway. The portion sizes are more than enough, I get two meals out of one container. I highly recommend their nasi goreng dish.Food: 4/5
Really great food but a bit of feedback guys. Please tell your customers on the phone when ordering that you only accept cash. I've just turned up and can't pay with a card so I've had to drive to the co-op where the ATM was closed and then had to drive around to find another ATM...not ideal. Apart from that as I said, outstanding food
This is our local Takeaway and I have been there many times and I can't fault it all, the food we have had is really tasty and well cooked and the portion size is very good. The staff are always very friendly, the only downside is it's cash only and when they are busy trying to place a phone order can be difficult as can't get through. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options which are shown on their menu. Parking: There is no actual park. Generally park on side of the road if quiet or at the conquest theatre car park. Wheelchair accessibility: There are steps into the shop so not wheelchair friendly.
Fancied some chips on our way back from Wales and my husband got me a small bag of chips. They were the best chips I've had in years.
Been here a number of times and always been great quality food. The Special Curry is a nice amount not too large and great flavours. Everyone I have invited round to a takeaway has said it is possibly the best Chinese they have had. My mom especially liked the chips, an empty pack spoke for itself. I can't comment on the fish as have never had any. Always be my takeaway of choice in Bromyard .
Had a takeaway from Shun Fat whilst holidaying down in Leominster, I can honestly say it was one of the worst Chinese food Iv ever had, part of what we ordered was completely tasteless and the other part of what we ordered was so salty it was inedible, after only a few mouthfuls the rest went in the bin. The portions were also very small in comparison to other takeaways... we certainly wont ever frequent there again if were ever in that neck of the woods! Giving 1 star is pushing it!!
Been a few times ..OK at best ..the man behind the counter... rich i think his name is comes across as a bit simple yet abrasive which is why it does well in bromyard as some of the locals are a little simple and uneducated ...a match made in heaven ...at least I felt increasingly more intelligent the more time I spent there
This place is both a chip shop and a Chinese takeaway, seeming quite popular with the locals. Visited a couple of times during a recent visit, going for the chip shop menu both times. Prices seemed quite reasonable cheaper than back at home, and whilst not the very best I've had the food was tasty and portions a good size for the price. Tried one of their spring rolls from the chip shop menu, which was large and tasted ok although could have done with more than a couple of prawns and bits of meat really. Customers seemed to get served very quickly as the common items were fried in advance. Would and did! visit again. NB, this review is ONLY based on the chip shop menu, as we did not order a Chinese meal.
How this place has got the reviews it's got its unbelievable???.My Two star is being very generous IMOP. I would seriously think about getting someone who knows what they are doing regarding Chinese food. Three of my biggest issues were 1to much oil the food was floating in it & 2 the sweet and sour sauce was watery like not enough body to it. 3The pancake role was massive a meal in it self to big very off putting with very little inside apart from onions & bamboo shoots & very very greasy. NOT a place I will go back to or recommend.
this place has won the worst fish and chips i have every had in 60 plus years the chips were not too bad but the fish was covered in two layers of hard batter. and the fish if cod was of tastless. i would normally have perhaps givern them a second chance but due to the fish will never go there again hope that this helps others i do not know what the other food is like. but wont be trying it
