Food was good when salt was added but overall not much flavour unfortunately. Absolutely love the dhal. Great dish thats done right. But all the other meals and sides seemed a bit bland. I would go back but mainly because it seems really hard to find a decent Indian takeaway on the wirral these days. Dietary restrictions: Dairy free was no issue and they have plenty of veggie options
Absolutely heaving on our chance Friday night visit. The staff managed to find a table for 5 after a 20 minute wait. Food was excellent, a bit hotter than the average curry house. Service was good despite the packed house. It's a BYOB establishment. Highly recommended

Dreadful we arrived around 7.00pm they appeared to be in a rush by 8.10 we had had starters and main courses at which time the bill was put on the table which we hadnt asked for we were not asked if we wanted sweets or anything else the person serving us was more interested in wether we were paying cash or card as he wanted the table in 5 mins at no time were we told there was a restriction on time at table. We have all eaten at various places in the world but never experienced such bad service from an individual another person was very appologetic on the way out and stated next time we would have more time .Dont think we will be going back. 6th aug
Love this place! Staff and food are wonderful.
Competent Indian cooking, rather than extraordinary. The food will not disappoint. But reviewing a week after the visit, it is difficult to remember the finer details as they weren't outstanding enough. The real bonus with Shuhel is the bring your own alcohol, as they do not have their own license. It makes the meal out very good value. We've eaten here many times before, and taken deliveries. We'll be back for more good value tasty Indian cuisine.
Excellent food. Restaurant is not licensed for alcohol but you can bring your own. Booking advised for weekend as it gets very busy. Good delivery service. Delivery drivers are friendly.
This is a popular Bangladeshi restaurant where you take your own alcohol with you. Plenty of choice on the menu. Good service and food.
