Visited during Covid. Been many times as its right on our doorstep and its always a pleasure. Beautiful grounds to spend hours exploring, really nice play area for the kids as well. Cafés on site as well. Recommend to anyone.
Great for a winter walk. Some catering available. The views are stunning. Need to book entrance in advance.
Well organized and big enough grounds to easily be able to social distance. Nice, well organized and safe tea room, and 2 visitor toilets. Lovely shop and very good bookshop with a great rang of second hand fiction. Nice walks around the grounds, down by the Trent, and around the walled garden
Well done all staff very friendly and organised
Obviously restricted visit / no access to building. But enjoyed our walking around the grounds - spent about 3 - 4 hours. Pleasing time for family / including our grandchildren.
11 rooms open, best out of the three we've visited recently. Beautiful grounds and very helpful knowledgeable staff/volunteers.
