Extremely dangerous golf course. Multiple golf balls have either struck or almost hit vehicle's that I've been traveling in on the main road parallel.
Interesting course, in great condition June 2022. As a visiting group we were made most welcome, and the 2 course meal afterwards was excellent.
We travelled from S-o-T to play in a mixed open. We were made to feel very welcome. Lovely course and great food. Would go back again.
This course was probably one of if not the best I have ever played. Great condition and the greens were incredible although very fast and tricky. The members were really nice and I got round quickly. Not a particularly long course but you need to be able to hit the shots straight as it can be quite tree lined in places.
Lovely park land course and a good challenge. Greens are extremely quick compared to my home course. Played in May but extremely cold with thick hail showers that spoilt the day somewhat.
Course is in good condition considering the dry weather we are having.
Shrewsbury Golf club is a lovely place. The course is really good although not as dramatic or interesting as some but you'd need to travel further afield. The greens are immaculate and fast. The parkland layout is easy walking and most enjoyable although the back 9 has a few hills. I mostly carry my bag but trolleys electric are the intelligent choice really if you struggle later on in the round. Overall, I highly recommend it. Recent improvements are spot on and the Pro is a lovely guy. Hard to go wrong if you are in the area.

The first nine holes at Shrewsbury Golf Club are played on flat fairways, for the second nine one must cross over the railway line where the fairways are completely different. Here the challenges are to play downhill onto blind greens then uphill, ones game must vary to accommodate these challenges. The club house has a first class restaurant, whilst the resident professional has his shop next to the car park. Winter rules allow for ball placement. Enjoy the experience of playing at one of Shropshire's best golf courses.
Played our Seniors past captain's away day at Shrewsbury GC today course was in excellent condition and the meal afterwards really good.
