Really nice atmosphere, even when we had to sit in the bar because the restaurant was too full. Had a lovely meal and good drinks. Would have been a 5* but one desert came out still frozen. We asked for another and the same one came out but this time it was luke warm. Bar staff were apologetic and took it off of the bill for us. We would go there again though as the rest of the meal was great.

There is a lovely big garden but the service was a bit slow despite the servers best efforts, the food was just average but then I did only pay £13.49 for 2 courses (although the bar man tried to over charge me claiming I could not have it because the offer didn't apply on a Friday - it was a Thursday - it got sorted relatively quickly). I think for pubs in the area it looked like one of the more modern ones but I walked past some very nice restaurants (especially the Tapas) that i think would have given me more for my money.

Food is really good, particularly ribbed beef. Lovely atmosphere, nice decor, welcoming staff and reasonable selection of beers. Very good value for money. Wish I lived closer to this place!

Was with a party of 9 who all enjoyed their meals. I had sea bass, scallops and risotto. The sea bass had obviously been frozen as outside rim of it was still partially frozen. Very off putting. Won't be returning

I enjoyed my food, it was well prepared and tasty. The ceilings were low in some place which I found adorable. I felt like a hobbit :) The chocolate Bomb dessert was amazing.
