When I last had a pint in this place many years ago it was a grotty pub have just st visiI h that had seen better days. I cannot really give a description of what the place is now update I have just visited the pub after so many years and it has been renovated better than remember.
Owner is in cahoots with a parking firm who rip anyone off that is unfortunate enough to enter the car park for however short amount of time. Vultures. Hoping karma catches up with them all.
Friendly pub, decent prices
parked in their tiny car park for 10 mins.. got fine for £60.. no way of calling the fining company.. then got fine for £100. paid it to close the matter.. then got fine again final chance before i get taken to court . Will try call landlord to see if they care about what they have set up.. and how they earn money.. but from what previous review says.. wont want to know .
Pubs OK not brill but a good pint
Got fined £100 for stopping on car park for 4 minutes to see what the opening hours were. Not happy. No warning as far as I could see
Some great karaoke singers, Elvis was a person favourite
Place was nice and cool.old fashioned fire place.good customer service.only down side they didn't serve food.no sandwiches or hot meals.but a very nice pub.with a beer garden outside.
I parked there 2 mins 15 second as my car dash lights came on and then it bleeped at me so i pulled on the car park as it was safe and convenient place i did not leave the car but i asked my 16 yr old daughter to get cash just incase i needed to be towed it ended up just being a seat belt fault which is being sorted i then got the fine in the post and it had multiple pictures of my daughter at the cash point when i looked online i did speak to the landlord and he was nasty as i wasn’t a customer and got told if i was he could of gotten it sorted i explained i was on my own and i was panicked even with that he didn’t want to help will never recommend this pub for anything
Nothing against the pub just the cowboy parking company they use.
