The ramen is good, I can’t remember the specific dish I had but it was nice and spicy! I would recommend if you are out on a busy Christmas shop! You can collect up points too for a free dish. drinks are a little expensive.Food: 4/5
This was an okay/mid experience. We waited at the entrance as per the sign requested, but no one came. After 5 minutes,  we just walked in and were noticed by staff. We ended up sitting outside looking into Piccadilly Gardens, as inside the restaurant was very crowded. We ordered boa buns to begin, which were very forgettable and didn't have much in them. For mains, we had katsu curry ramen, which was nice, but given the total price, this did not hit the expectations. Overall, it was okay, but I probably won't be visiting again.
Managed to get a table without a reservation, and it was very busy. The food was lovely. The miso broth was particularly delicious. We ordered via the app but a waiter also approached us to check if we needed anything. The staff were very friendly and helpful.Food: 5/5
Better than „Kushi Tei of Tokyo“ Düsseldorf, Germany! Shoryu Ramen in Manchester is an absolute gem! From the moment you step in, the inviting atmosphere and chic decor make you feel right at home. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring a seamless dining experience. The ramen here is out of this world. The rich, flavorful broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and top-notch toppings come together to create a bowl of pure bliss. I particularly loved the special edition Takana Tonkotsu – the depth of flavor was simply unmatched, and the char siu pork was tender and delicious. Not only is the food exceptional, but the overall dining experience is also top-notch. The menu offers a fantastic variety, catering to all tastes, and the attention to detail in every dish is evident. Whether you're a ramen aficionado or new to this culinary delight, Shoryu Ramen is a must-visit. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy authentic, high-quality ramen in Manchester. Five stars without a doubt!
Food was amazing! We've had ramen and gyoza and everything was so tasty. We reserved the table in advance because there were a lot of us, but the service was fast and people working there are really nice.Food: 5/5
I am lactose intolerant and it's the first time ever that the waiter brings the allergen menu in order to ensure I won't have any allergic reaction. I love the way they treat their customers and it's a very warm atmosphere. I tried the karaage curry and the takoyaki it reminded me of one of the Osaka's donburi avenue I had but not as hot . I definitely recommend, the Asahi cider . Dietary restrictions: Very careful when it comes to allergy.
I nipped in today for a quick meal before a train. I had the Shoryu Ganso Tonkotsu and the Nansi Drops cocktail, absolutely delicious and the waitress and manager were excellent, very prompt and on the ball with allergens. My dish itself came quickly and was incredibly flavoursome and good value for money. I just wish I had more time to try starters and more cocktails but it’s definitely somewhere which I’ll be coming back with friends. Dietary restrictions: All of the staff I spoke to were incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating about allergens
I visited this branch on Friday 16th August 2024 at 2:30pm. The restaurant had a lot of customers inside. I had to wait quite some time to be seated, as the 2 servers just looked at me and moved elsewhere. I was finally seated outside. I once again had to wait some time for my order to be taken. I had the Soba iced tea which was lovely, even though I had to ask for it twice. I also had the Ganso Curry, which looked nice, but was pretty bland, with very overcooked meat. This was supposed to be their signature curry dish, so it was a real disappointment. The total including 10% Service charge was £19.85.
Waiting time was less than 5 minutes even though I came at lunch rush hour. Staff greeted us amusingly with drums, we got seated and the staff introduced us to the menu. The Japanese Chicken was delicious and warm, and the ramen was warm, soup tasted good with spring onions, perfect egg, pork and seaweed. Noodles were cooked nicely, not too soft and not too hard. Parking: NCP, yes they are everywhere around. Or just take the tram
This is my go to place for ramen and they also have some delicious starters such as takoyaki and fried chicken. Never disappointed with taste. Service has always been good in my experience, staff are very helpful with the menu or requesting substitutions. We went with a booking most recently Friday dinner time but there were tables available for walk in as well. Kid-friendliness: Families with children were eating here and staff seemed very accommodating
