A lovely wee ice cream shop in Ballater. Friendly, helpful staff who are happy to give recommendations. Lots of flavours available and the ice cream is all homemade. Dairy free and vegan options available too. I even managed to get my dog a wee scoop which they topped with a dog biscuit too.

Took my nephew and niece here. We were all very happy with our ice cream choices. We would certainly come back when next in town.

The best Ice Cream in Scotland. A variety of classic and original flavours, also offering other delicious options. Very thoughtful and caring when dealing with a customer with a nut allergy. Please visit, then you'll understand why I keep returning, even on a rainy day!

We had a strawberry sundae and 2 scoops chocolate absolutely fantastic i would rate it as nearly the best ice cream in Scotland 5 star review staff very freindly & polite,  prices very reasonable, we loved the dog waiting outside for her icecream

Still the BEST ice cream I've ever tasted. Been all around the world and have yet to find anywhere that can compete with Cheryl's ice creams. No where can touch it. I'm an ice cream fanatic and have a good pallet for flavour. It's going to cost me a fortune in travel once I move. It's the best. Just about to tuck in to some chocolate nero vegan friendly It's to die for and I NEVER eat chocolate ice cream EVER! Also the Ballater creme which is heaven A real asset to Ballater and anyone who supplies Shorty's. Keep going Cheryl. xx

Friendly staff and good service but the ice cream was not anything special.

We always try to get an ice when we're in Ballater. Always have a Nice selection or ice cream and sorbets.

Super ice cream parlour in the centre on Ballater, will definitely be back

Been here many a time, liquorice flavour is to die for. Great staff, great products. Always on my ‘to visit’ list when back in the North East.
