Fave place for Sunday lunch 😍 can get busy and sometimes need to wait for table , but they have a good waiting system in place - make sure you write name and no. of people on the board as you go in ) Always a great sunday lunch, plenty of meat, fresh veg & potatoes are bought on sharing platter for table - always loads of it .Creamed cabbage is amazing xx

I personally would give it 1 star because my steak was way underdone and not what I asked for but there was only 1 other table of people in there so I was too embarrassed to ask them to cook it more. Everyone else loved their meal though so I personally had a bad time but everyone else liked it. I have been here years ago and loved it but that was then. Place needs a serious overhaul as it’s so out dated, need to spend some money on modernising.

Always a great meal. Been a regular here since the 1980s. Been a few changes over the years but the food is constantly good. Well done fir sticking to a menu that works and always providing the same excellent meal time after time.
