I would never buy from this place again. The shoes look good, but fall apart in weeks 4 weeks to be precise, really poor quality materials. Furthermore the manager refuses to follow The Consumer Rights Act 2015 and The Sale of Goods Act 1979, not addressing the issue nor providing anything in writing. Very poor customer service for a Leicester based company! They claim they have not had any complaints, but just google resolver and the number of complains https://www.resolver.co.uk/companies/shoe-zone-complaints When I called customer services, they said anything bought instore has to be resolved by the manager of the branch. I took the shoes back to the store and the first response was the store manager was not in, after calling customer services, the staff told me the supervisor was in, and the supervisor called the store manager. In short, they tried to give me the run-around which was not very professional or good service. The manager once she arrived from the store room informed me the shoes are not under warranty of any type and it is not possible to do anything. Let alone the poor quality of products being sold for which I had to waste my time resolving, I am unsure if such unprofessional behaviour in dealing with customers would attract me as a customer again.
The shop is quite clean. They sell shoes for men, women and children. Men's shoes mostly around £14.99 to £16.99. Mostly black, some laces, some without laces. You can see sizes in the shoes and try things on. You can look in a mirror to see the shoes on you. They take credit cards. They have shoe horns available. The staff are friendly and helpful. The store is closing in March leaving the St Ann's Centre store in Harrow as the nearest possibly. You can buy online and get delivery to local pick up locations. I did not see any customer toilets but there are Broadwalk Centre toilets nearby.
Supervisors should be given more training to use their discretion and offer a replacement at least when the quality is unacceptable
I have bought shoes from your Burnt Oak Branch for years but sadly it is closed. The staff there were absolutely amazing. Very helpful & polite. I came to Edgware Branch of Shoe Zone, the gentleman was very cheerful and helpful but the Manager was not at all friendly nor polite. I had a my own business and I was always polite and friendly to my customer and even after leaving the business some customers still get in touch. I had a problem with one of the shoe when I tried out where water sipped through. I had bought shoes on 27/12/2022. I went back today on 31/12/2022 and unfortunately Manager was there. First she was not ready to believe what I said. Why would one take journey in the rain and high wind and being in my Seventies why would I take trouble. I can afford to buy 10 pairs so it is not about the money. Also eventually when she agreed and when I got another pair I said thank you but there was not any response. In fact I haven't seen rude manager like that.
As the receipt says "we love your feedback" with a web address that redirects you here, I am here to write my feedback about this store: My daughter, a black 13 year old girl, came today to buy herself some shoes at 12:48 with some of her friends, also black. School had finished early and I gave her permission to go shopping. The girls were closely watched by a white staff member who did not respect their personal space and stood there staring at them and making them feel uncomfortable. It was very clear that they were being followed for being black, and that they suspected that they came to steal. My daughter bought the shoes and paid for them with her hard earned pocket money. How is this still happening in 2022 two years after the BLM protests when everybody shared a black square on their instagrams, I don't know. Shoezone, do better.
The staff are racist and they profile young children. If you’re Black or you care about Black people, don’t give this place your business.
I have bought a couple of pairs of footwear, trainers and walking shoes here and dispite there very low prices I was and am very happy with them. Great selection and good prices.
Bought my daughter shoes.
Very rude customer service the guy is high doesn't know how to respect he's customer
Good shop to get all kind of shoes.
