Beautiful park to take a stroll in. We took bread for the ducks and the girls loved feeding them. Canada geese and mallards. Walked up the hill and back through majestic trees. Came as a child and it's still as good. Free parking for 8 cars or so on the roadside.
Loved the size but parking is difficult. Lots sheep and associated poo so you need to stay alert with your dog eating and rolling in it.
A lovely park for walking. There is an amazing avenue of lime trees. No facilities like loos or cafe, but that doesn't matter if you know in advance. Keep dogs on a lead if there are sheep in the fields.
Good for a walk when meeting up with friends. Use the OS Map app to find some good circular walks. Walk a little further to find a Holy Well
This is a fantastic park just close to Crediton. Great for dog walkers & general park goers, it has two lakes & a magnificent array of mature trees. It's separated into two halves with dog walkers seemingly favoring the flater section closer to town, whilst the hillier section leading up towards shobrooke village has enormous oaks & scotts pine & stunning views across the local countryside.nIt doesnt have toilets or any other amenities, just the park for walking. Parking is free, but is quite limited at both entrances.
