It seems like a pleasant park.nThere is a kid play area and plenty of space to just sit/lie on the grass and sit on benches if free.nMy dog is quite reactive but I went around pretty much the whole perimeter of the park without any trouble since the dogs we did encounter were well mannered and not racing about without any supervision.nObviously that was only one day but ..nThere is a smallish enclosed area for dogs as well but of course it's pot luck if you go in there. I did go in there but my dog kicked off even though she was in a leadnIf her manners were better I would be happy to take her in there again.
What a lovely park to take the kids to. There are lots of different areas for each activity. Also several usable tennis courts. A skate park outdoor gym ‍ . There were people flying kites too. The people were very friendly too.
It is a great place to take children. There is a well equipped play area for the children with swings and slides and climbing frames. There's a dog friendly area where you can let your dog run around in a secure area without the worry of it escaping. Large open fields are ideal for games and picnics and an outdoor gym and skateboard park. There is often an ice cream van or somewhere to purchase a coffee whilst out and about.
Very nice park, lovely clean play area for the children. I have to congratulate the locals with dogs for actually picking up their mess, didn't see any dog muck round the paths. My 2 year old thanks you for making it easier to play and run
