Had a deep tissue massage with Annie today. She was excellent and made me feel very comfortable. I’m happy with deep pressure, but she checked in with me that what she was doing was ok for me as I hadn’t been before and checked about any pain or problems. Hot stones were new for me and were amazing and finishing off with a head massage was great too! Thanks Annie. I’ll be back!
Update- issue cleared up and next massage was great. Thank you Not very happy. Booked a deep tissue massage for a Sunday evening which was quick easy. However the actual massage- I wasn’t made to feel comfortable, wasn’t asked about what areas I have pain or are problematic . Just asked if I wanted oil and the therapist didn’t properly target my shoulders where I have a lot of knots and pain. I came away not very relaxed and £50 out of pocket. The therapist seemed really tired herself and overworked and as if she didn’t want to be there which is not good for clients. Won’t be returning again. Just about the money making here not really personalising the massage for individual clients. Very let down.
Liz is honestly amazing, she knew exactly what she was doing focused where my pain was. Honestly hands down the best massage I have gotten in the uk and I have been to a lot of places!
Liz is an absolute professional and presents a very trustworthy, hardworking and honest service. I booked my husband in with Liz for a deep tissue massage and she did not disappoint. Her knowledge of the body and its nuances is second to none. She knew what she was doing and did it with perfection. Will definitely be returning. Booked this place for my mum as a birthday present and she absolutely loved her relaxing massage. Annie was great and massaged her very well. Would definately recommend to others.
Though Shirley Massage Centre is not the nearest option, distance was a con I could live with provided the therapist was worth her salt. I made the booking with part trepidation and part optimism because I based my decision on the Google reviews and sometimes, real life experience with the service provider can go either way. So on arrival, I was that 'hard-to-please' client - came in with her own scented candle, requesting specific ambience from music decibel to lighting! But Liz kept her cool and engaged politely till some level of trust was achieved.. She earned 3stars straight up! The other 2 was earned during actual session. My muscles could do with some TLC - all knotted and inflamed. Liz worked these muscles with clinical precision and suggested other therapeutic methods that could improve healing. I even tried cupping....sshhhh. Could the interior do with some improvement? Yes, but that does not take away from the 5stars. Will definitely be coming back.
Booked in a relaxation massage very last minute for 30 mins. They were able to accommodate between 2 bookings thankfully. The practitioner was very experienced, knowledgable, friendly, cooperative and made you feel welcome. Amazing skill and had the best sleep after a rough week, woke up very well rested and on the road to recovery.
I have been seeing Liz for nearly 10 years now after seeing several chiropractors and going to many other massage shops without success. Dr Liz as I call her is very knowledgeable with the human body and very experienced. I’ve had a range of problems with my shoulders, back and hip from my job as a plasterer and dr Liz’s magical hands fixes me up every time.she’s kept me going and I’ve only had to have the odd day off work, I would be truly lost without dr Liz and her deep tissue massage and acupuncture it really does work and although it’s quite painful when she’s doing it I feel so much better after it and the next day so thank you Liz I would be really lost without u.

Liz gave an amazing deep tissue massage! She was kind, professional and gave me possibly one of the best massages ever. I came in with lower back issues and all the stiffness and tightness has lessened. She really knows about pressure points and what part of the muscle to focus on.
