My mum, Joan King, spent many happy days here. Her family were, and still are, very grateful for the help and care which she received. It’s no lie to say she lived for her Tuesday and Thursday visits. The Staff, and the friends she made understood her problems and were endlessly patient with her. It also gave her family some much needed breathing space, safe in the knowledge that she was well cared for. It is now 3 years since my Mum died but we will never forget Shirevale. Thank you. Julia Howe.
