Recently I have had reason to take my 94year old partner to the surgery on three occasions. In all cases the care was excellent I could not fault it.nDue to the reasons of visits and call it was three different doctors who contacted me immediately . I could not fault them. A first rate surgery who care.
I just want to publicly say a huge thank you to reception and my GP for how they looked after me yesterday…nThankfully what was thought to be potentially a heart attack wasn’t upon checks at the hospital. What a fantastic service. I rang after 4pm today when their online services had finished and a very helpful receptionist took my details. I explained I felt I had an infection and probably needed antiobiotics. A dr phoned me at 5.45pm and took full details. She agreed antiobiotics were necessary and I picked up a prescription at 6.10pm and so I have been able to start the course in less than 2 hours from first making contact. Everyone was friendly and helpful throughout and I felt truly supported. Keep it up Shipston Medical Practice - you’re offering an incredible service.
Not been able to see a GP in three years feel let down and frustrated staff are polite but they are an iron wall which you can not get through. Beginning to think there are no GPs just nursing staff.
Obviously very Covid 19 aware. Needed to see a nurse to dress a wound on my wife's arm. I got an appointment immediately to see Nurse Faith who was superb, as we have all come to expect of late.nThe receptionist I spoke to was extremely helpful and very kind.nThere is also a pharmacy on site which is extremely useful, they can also deliver medication to your home
