Absolutely fantastic place, nothing I'd too much trouble for the wardens and owners always there to help. Make you feel so welcome from the start of your holiday to the end. Highly recommend the woodfire pizzas and the coffee from the little shop is fantastic too. The site is picturesque and tranquil and all the families we met were friendly too. There is a play area which is well maintained and picnic tables so you can sit and watch them play. Toilet and shower block was well cleaned and replenished at all times no matter how busy the site was. Thank you so much for our stay xx
Great place to visit, staff are friendly and polite and always able to assist. Facilities are probably the best I have seen being clean, heated and a good standard. Shop is ok with a variety of essentials on offer. The pitches are very nice right next to a river with even T.V aerial points on them for you plug into. We were lucky and backed on to the river bank. It is a long thin site with a playpark at each end and overall a very nice site to visit with lots of walking close by.
We're having a very good camping experience with Sherwood Forest Holiday Park. The owners are very kind and helpful. The service is very well and the equipment is very clean. Quite pleasant and reasonably quiet over this bank holiday weekend. In the morning you can see wild geese flying over to the nearby waters and the Creswell Crags only a few miles away from the Sherwood Forest.
Great site,absolutely fabulous dog walks must be kept on lead we came with family and grandchildren,we were put in the Hawthornes field no hook up we normally go hook up. Field was great for the grandkids,we were on pitch 12, halfway down the field,well stocked shop on site and reasonably priced take note,no alcohol sold nearest pubs quiet a walk away about 10 mins in a car, Warsop we toured the site really nice,but highly recommend hook up areas.
What an absolute diamond of a site! Absolutely beautiful pitches, scenary and exceptionally well maintained and clean toilet & pot washing facilities - they were spotless and heated. The wardens on site were exceptionally helpful and friendly, as were the shop team. We came as a family of 4 and the kids loved the playgrounds! We had a wonderful stay and will absolutely be back again! Thank you all so much! Nearby activities: Sherwood forest and outdoor activities are nearby Walkability: Lovely woodland/countryside walks are on your doorstep Food & drinks: Nearby fish & chips, chinese restaurants, large Asda and Tesco superstores, and on-site shop which is exceptionally well stocked of both caravan/camping equipment as well as toys for kids, ice creams, milk and some food items.

Came in our caravan nice big pitch by the river friendly good kept site mobile food vans on site each night for chippy to pizza well stocked shop clean toilets showers 2nd time here will be back but need to book early as site fulls up very quickService: 5/5
Absolutely beautiful site, the staff were so lovely, gorgeous walks and toilet/wash facilities were so clean also heated well! we loved it!!Rooms: 5/5
Great destination with excellent facilities and basic entertainment for the kids. My only fault was the pitch for our trailer tent was too short, meaning literally walking onto the service roads from the tent entrance. Otherwise a truly lovely site in a great location
