Sherlock Funeral Service was established in Dorking in 1888, and is now a fifth generation family run business.We offer a first class, and comprehensive funeral and memorial service, for both burial or cremation, including the use or our interdenominational service chapel. We can assist and advise you with all aspects regarding funeral arrangements and the associated procedures. A 24 hour telephone service for emergencies is maintained.

Sherlocks put together my Nans funeral this week and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better service. From start to finish, they offered a warm, kind touch to everything they did and truly went above and beyond. They made an incredibly difficult time easier with all their care. Clive & Maria- thank you so much for all your support these last couple of weeks. I won’t ever forget it.

Sherlocks organised my mother's funeral recently. She had chosen them herself! Everyone I met has been so kind and supportive. So a big thank to all and in particular  Maria.

I was  highly recommended to Sherlocks by a very dear friend who is also a vicar and has been associated with the company for a number of years.  I could not have been happier with the wonderful service I received from Clive and everyone at Sherlocks.  I  sadly lost my husband at the beginning of the year and then my mother just recently, so have had a double experience.  On both occasions, everything was handled with such personal care, dignity and respect.  I now feel we have become friends for life and cannot recommend them highly enough.  Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

From our first contact with Sherlocks they were incredibly kind, sensitive and helpful.  This continued throughout the planning, especially Maria,  and then the funeral itself.  Clive was very kind on the day.  Highly recommend.
