Great kids playround catering for all ages and part of it is closed off to stop toddlers making a break for freedom without you noticing. There are other climbing and swinging contraptions on the hillside, but all amenities are close to the car park so it's very convenient. It's all free as well!
Brilliant morning out with the dog, lovely space to walk in, the park has plenty to keep the kids happy and the outdoor gym was also fun. Plenty of bins around so no sure why there was so much litter. Parking is free too which is a Brucie bonus
While Sherdley is a lovely park it does need to move forward always hear same comments about needing a cafe etc no toilet facilities nearby . While it's lovely trees and walks are lovely and facilities for the kids to play are great in comparison to widnes Victoria Park , sorry Sherdley you come up lacking behind .
Great park for kids. Lovely walk around gardens. Dog friendly
Great park, massive. Worth a visit for the kids or walk the dog as plenty of space or even get a football match going!
Its a nice walk , friendly people with their own dogs just a shame there isn't a cafe or Toilet facilities.
Nice little quiet area and park for kids to play in and good transport links with Lea Green trainstation in close proximity
Attended the Manchester Cross Country league at Sherdley Park today — Lots of hills, trees, and wide open spaces occasional muddy patches. Some of the paths and cycle ways have been recently resurfaced
Great place for family's with plenty of options in a good area however can become packed on summer days and unsafe later in the day however this is to be expected with all parks no more so than in the gardens.
Used to be excellent in my youth when the whole community got involved with sherdley show etc. Police/fire/military all did displays. Now they just put on overpriced carnival rides. Used to have the animal corner, that had been dropped too.
