We visited your Shell Select on the A19 South bound with the intention of filling up and getting a hot drink and a snack.nnOn entry via the pump lane to go fill up, we were forced to go back on ourselves and park in the cars only car park because we noticed cones in front of all the pumps preventing anyone to fill up with fuel.nnAs my partner opened the door he hesitated because there were delivery cages partly in the way. We were greeted with, 'we're closed'. In the confusion she added 'what do you want?' This all coming what seemingly was a supervisor.nnI apologised and asked, 'sorry I missed the sign' saying you're temporarily closed and continued to ask where it was. She said that that's why the cones where there. I asked again if there was a sign. She didn't answer and repeated herself about the cones as if I wasn't grasping the concept.nnThe cones were as seen in picture, with no clear indication of the store being shut for this period. She said, 'we're normally closed for recieving deliveries'. She treated us and other customers as an inconvenience and repeated herself to some customers but not all.nnHer manner and customer service was confrontational and challenging by still allowing access to the cars only car park it allows people to presume the store is still in use. Especially considering the toilet access was inside aswell.
