I went to this shell and paid cash. Received a demand for the money a month later. I remember paying so asked to see the cc tv images only to be told by “Genesh” at the store that they do not have cc tv images for anything over a month!!! Someone at this store is stealing cash exchanges- will only use card at this store from now!!! I also had to wait 10 minutes before i was attended to! Disgusting service. Go with your own camera if you need any services.
I drove a long way to use the car wash, even though the car wash was open and wet inside I was told that the car wash was not working because of the bang holiday , I tried another nearby branch right away and they serviced me
Car wash is only open on rainy days. It's out of service on any other day throughout the year. No pun intended.
Good ev charging experience. I wish it was open longer. The ev chargers require no staff, therefore ought to be available 24/7/365.
This happened year's ago, but my bank card was cloned at this petrol station. The man rubbed my card on his arm saying that the machine couldn't read it. I hadn't used my bank card for anything else around that time and the staff at my bank laughed. They said he is as good as arrested.
This gas station is a franchise and the fuel prices are too high, the highest in the area. The difference in premium fuels with other petrol stations in the area is up to 10p per litre
I use this now and than for petrol and the odd bit of shopping in the small store, usually i have come across fairly polite staff but not tonight as i put petrol in my car, very rude cashier, didnt even look up at me when i said 'Good evening' , i am always a cheerful polite lady to everyone , he didnt say thankyou or even say a word to me, i said thankyou very much and goodbye, he said nothing, very rude, should not be behind a counter , I have worked in sales, behind counters and various places and self employed, always cheerful and polite to everyone no matter what is happening in my life. they need to tell or train some staff to look at customers and be polite and cheerful with manners. makes me not want to use it again tbh
Sorry to hear the bad reviews and I have only found the staff polite and helpful. Be careful if you shop as in the past the bread was out of date never bought food from there again. The filling station also has a good car wash but closes at 12pm on Sunday. I know why residents/noise but I think it is too early. Otherwise it is a decent place.
Car wash never seems to be working when I go along.
They regularly overcharge for groceries - watch your receipts! It’s happened three times to me, sneaking in double scanned items for wine, sandwiches and ice creams. I’m not saying they are necessarily dishonest, but it’s something to look out for. I regularly check my receipts at this place now.
