NOT A TRICK OR A JOKE X MCGORAN
Hard to get excited about this place. It is functional and reasonably easy to get around. Best thing here is the Sheffield Tap. Well worth a visit or two. Uphill walk to the City centre and it's not far. Makes for an easy downhill walk back.
Been in Sheffield few times and always use train from my town. The station is clean and tidy. The entrance hall was a bit small for my liking. Easy access in all platforms. Taxi's and Uber cars are just outside station.
I have to have assistance because of my wheelchair, everyone was so helpful. The station itself was clean. The staff made sure people had a valid reason for not wearing a mask. All in all I felt safe.
It's a functional station with lots of destinations and it's easy to navigate. However, I wish there were more warm / comfortable places to sit down and wait for your train. Also, I would like to see the charges to use the toilet phased out ASAP. Some people have to travel with medical conditions such as IBS or overactive bladder.
A lockdown-proof store design with picking from the catalogue. Ingeniously designed. Liked it
