Small two-platform station at the end of the single track line from Sittingbourne. Trains every half hour to Sittingbourne except at meal times when the service is hourly where you change onto the main line connecting Dover Priory with London Victoria and other London Terminals. There are other stations along the route from Sittingbourne - eg Rochester - which connect with other main lines and suburban London services.nnSheerness-on-Sea Railway Station is, regrettably, litter-strewn and drab. A face-lift is definitely required to give holidaymakers and other travellers a much better first impression of the seaside town.
Awful company been using southeastern for years to commute to work Never again.. They close sheerness ticket office in the mornings now and then fine you for not having a ticket allways rude and intimidating even though I got one online when on the train apparently that wasn't good enough they have no machine on the platform it's tucked away around the corner and if you approach the station from some angles you won't even know it's there so for that reason they won't get any more of my hard earned wages.. Almost like its done on purpose to get revenue.. Personally I advise using the chalkwell bus service in the morning of day time..
Good place to walk the dog near teco as well...
Lovely town by the sea with friendly locals and good mood. Worth visiting on the weekends, the railway station is 5 min walk from the beach!
