Useless establishment. Constantly decline orders through Just Eat. Should be removed from Just Eat.
I had a call from this vendor and feel as though I pretty much got berated for the location of which I live and the time that I requested this to be ordered. I set a time because anything earlier was impractical to me. I do not expect to have a phone call from the restaurant telling me that because I live outside of where their usual deliveries take place that I can not expect a certain level of service and that I have to accept the food at the time they decide I should have it. Whilst going through this conversation I had the driver emphatically banging on my door and the only solution I was offered was they they would take my food back, put it on a hot plate and then deliver the same food back to me. This has been a dire experience on this occasion and is a great shame because a decent Indian take-away is difficult to come by in my area and we have enjoyed the food from here. Now I am in half a mind whether to order from here again after making this my go-to take-away.
Have been enjoying the takeaway from here for years - curry is tasty, portions sensible and price reasonable. It's not a fancy curry house, but the food is as good as many more costly restaurants - we collect our own rather than have delivery so if it's cold it's my fault for driving too slow!
My family and I have ordered from Shapla for a number of years and we have always found the food very good and a great price. The delivery is mostly quick and when we order the person on the phone is always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Shapla Wokingham.
Don't waste your time - Service is slow, & usually cold when it arrives. If you call them up to ask for your food by phone or online they respond saying they are too busy. Then they hang up. Even after charging your Credit Card. Never again!
Great food .... rubbish service.....love the food but have been disappointed every time I’ve ordered a takeaway.... slow delivery never been any delivered quicker than 1.5hrs after ordering! and order wrong. First time was told would bring the rest of the missing order... phoned twice and then gave up... have decided will only order if I can get to pick up onstead of waiting for the wrong cold very nice food to be delivered.
Awful customer service. After having home deliveries in the past, and having given my order, I was told by 'the manager' that they don't actually deliver to my area and never have done. Interesting as they had my name and address on their database.
Great takeaway: reasonably priced, great food and really quick delivery. Staff are always polite on the phone and the menu has loads of options for vegetarians.
My Shapla meal never disappoints, deliciously spicy and well worth waiting for the delivery... OK I'm joking, delivered within 15 minutes.
