Bought a pair of shades and service was excellent from the lady at the counter. Come back as they were faulty. Same lady but attitude horrendous. Seems her service is dependant on whether your purchasing or not. So disappointed. Was called obnoxious for pointing out to a queue jumper. That I was in the queue. Sue responded she was already serving these people. When I had been stood there for 10 mins whilst she was actually serving someone else. Sad thing is recommended others to go get their shades from here who are going to experience the same if they end up back there.
Was recommended by a friend to purchase some Ray-Bans. However due to bad reviews and experiences regarding a certain employee who goes by the name of Nicola. I will have to go to someplace else to purchase my sunglasses. Such a shame as I had seen a lot of good reviews about the business but unfortunately bad employees have changed my decision about this fine establishment.
If I could give a 0 rating I would. Absolutely horrible service. Extremely judgemental staff Nicola and poor attitudes these people need to be re-trained on customer service skills! When I walked into the store I immediately felt like I was being profiled by the members of staff

Went in to have a quick look, ended up speaking with Hassan and had the best conversation about sunglasses I'd ever had. Didn't buy anything, but if I'd had the money I definitely would have! Hassan is one of the friendliest customer service people I've ever spoken to, and they'd deserve some sort of promotion! 21/08/23
Popped to Leeds for day of shopping and lunch, popped in to the Sunglass Hut in Trinity and ended up walking out after buying a pair of Ray Bans and and a pair of Oakleys. Was nice to be able to browse and not be jumped on as soon as you enter the store.
I brought my new Ray-Ban wayfarer from there.The staff were very helpful, and they had a nice selection of sunglasses from well-known brands. A pleasant experience... :.
I was subjected to humiliation and unfair treatment by this stores employees on 31/12/22. The York store forgot to give me my essentials with my purchase, so I was sent by the York store to collect my items from the leeds store. The York manager had already emailed the leeds store manager regarding this prior to my visit. At first I was served by a female employee and after few explanations I was given a cleaning cloth, but was denied my care kit. I had to resort to ringing the York store to clear the matter. After many explanations I finally managed to claim my care kit for my sunglasses. The real problem occurred after My husband made a purchase for some sunglasses today. I asked for a care kit with his sunglasses and was refused. I was told because I’m not taking the sunglasses home physically I can’t receive a care kit. Despite purchasing the glasses and paying for them instore! It was 2 separate transactions in 2 different stores under 2 different names! We were then told to SHARE the care kit. I even rang sunglass hut Sheffield and was told both me and my husband were eligible for a care kit, as we made 2 separate transactions under 2 different accounts. When I asked the female staff to clear the matter with the other store she said their policy is different and refused to speak with them, saying “I know how to do it, but I can’t do it” because the manager said no to giving my husband a care kit. When asked if another couple bought 2 sunglasses would they receive 2 care kits, she replied “yes but we can’t give it to you”. The 2 female staff and the security guy were extremely rude to me. I don’t know why I was subjected to such unfair behaviour. Both the security guy and female employee told me to leave as the manager said no to giving a care kit and that if he’s said he hasn’t spoken to me before, then that means he hasn’t. ***The store manager claimed he’s never spoken to me despite talking to me on the phone on Thursday 29th December 12.04pm. He even told me he’ll be working in-store Friday but won’t be working on Saturday. He also said the staff on Saturday will help me with my purchase. Instead I was made to look like a liar! When my husband asked the security guard for their names he said NO I’m not giving you any names. I left the store humiliated and very upset. Shocking customer service! *** Update 4/1/2023 The store manager has now apologised for the appalling in-store customer service and he does recall our phone conversation on Thursday 29th December regarding my husbands sunglasses. He has now sent my husband the care kit he was supposed to receive in-store. I hope this doesn’t happen to any customers in the future. Please respect your customers. Thank you
A great place to buy new shades. They have premium stuff. What's better is the service. Charlotte and Berfin were exceptional. They were so sweet and patient and took time to help us decide which ones to buy. We took a million hours to decide and they did a great job!
