A nice train station that is now served by the Elizabeth line with trains going to Paddington. The platforms are long the station was clean there are lifts available to the platforms and inside the station there is a sweet shop.
Its a decent station, having great links to central london but i really miss the greater anglia service which is now decreased to limited service. there is 4 platforms, only 2 frequently in use plat 3 & 4 with greater anglia and gidea park trains going right past the station. I'm kind of confused why gidea park trains dont stop here but whatever...? Also has quite a nice 20m walk to newbury park station if you want the central line!
So seven kings is a very nice station with a cafe on the platform3 it is useful for weelchair users by the im not a tourist I live in seven kings i still miss the old great eastern main line /greater anglia I really like that train so I say travel at this station one problem is that the lifts are always out of service
Good option dor east London traveller. But one main thing there is no proper waiting system.
Seven Kings railway station is on the Great Eastern Main Line serving the district of Seven Kings in the London Borough of Redbridge, east London. It is 8 miles 46 chains 13.8 km down the line from London Liverpool Street and is situated between Ilford and Goodmayes. Its three-letter station code is SVK and it is in Travelcard Zone 4. The station was opened on 1 March 1899 by the Great Eastern Railway. It is currently managed by Transport for London and is on the Elizabeth line between Shenfield and Heathrow Airport..nnIn June 2017 new Class 345 trains began entering service in preparation for the opening of Crossrail. New lifts, signage, help points, customer information screens and CCTV were installed. The platforms at Seven Kings are too short for the 200 metres 220 yd long 9-carriage trains, so selective door opening is utilised to prevent the doors opening in one carriage.nnSeven Kings is the closest station to Ilford EMU Depot.nnLondon Buses routes 86 and N86 serve the station.
