Quite a nice environment. Good seating. Your standard wine bar. Staff friendly and place looks good inside. Only visited once.
Great bar that shows football,has good drinks offers in the week and the food is pretty good. I've heard girls say it can be a little cold but I've been fine
Lovely historical building I'd say it used to be a coach house . Friendly staff who make sure you enjoy your experience. Fresh food that's well presented it's obvious that the chef is trained to a high standard . First class service.
I visited on a Monday night whilst up here on business. I had the mussels to start and the lamb shank as a main. Both were excellent both in portion size a quality. The restaurant is in the attic and accessed from the rear of the bar and definitely worth the climb!
Do occasional offers for cheap beer and has upstairs restaurant. Recent refurbished but stark lighting and poor heating make it unwelcoming in winter. Nice sunny garden for the summer.
