Fast service, lots of seating. Outdoor benches and tables in fine weather. Try their speciality goat’s cheese and chive scones
Poor service food not properly cooked order had been forgotten meant we waited over 30min for toasted Panini bread soggy inside.nPlenty of staff,nThey need to look at being more aware and show interest in customers instead of chatting between themselves.nFind somewhere else to eat .
Love if here. Staff are great, kind with dogs and humans. So nice to take a break mid dog walk through beautiful Cockington for a great cup of coffee. Cannot fault it here.
I'm really surprised by the lack of 5 star reviews, this place is beautiful, a good reason to walk through the grounds or a welcome rest on a hot day. Despite being understaffed they were extremely friendly, it welcomes dogs and has water bowls and shade, the food was so good I ordered another sandwich to take back to my hotel for supper, and the ice cream was delicious and a generous portion. The dog says her ice cream was yummy, also.
Lovely place, coffee was good enough and the staff were friendly but I was disappointed that the scones come with cheese and jam served in single use plastic. It seems a strange choice given the fact it they have plenty of little pots in which they serve milk.
