Lovely family run quaint Asian little supermarket. Great selection of snacks, ingredients and traditional Japanese serving dishes.
Always like the authenticity of the stock here. I'm sure they would do much more business in a more prominent location. You have to know they are in the Parade.
I get all my oriental food supplies from here . Buying from Setonaiki has led me to experimenting with food stuffs previously unknown to me , I was encouraged by friends who have travelled extensively in South East Asia , China and Japan , I love it now .
Excellent oriental provisions shop , it is privately owned and the staff are helpful. It has a limited stock due to being not a large shop unit with limited footfall. However , the range is still very good and includes frozen foods like Chinese dumplings . Well worth a visit if you want oriental foodstuffs and accessories.
Always go here when I visit Shrewsbury. It's on the lower floor. Full of bits&pieces, & always buy something! Organic flowering teas, japanese pots, candy & noodles..
Setonaikai is a small Japanese shop in the Parade Shopping Centre. It stocks an interesting range of Japanese foods, gorgeous Japanese ceramics, teas and drinks. It is rather eclectic, gifts and cards as well as food. The staff are very friendly and the prices reasonable.
A lovely little store crammed full of all you need to create wonderful traditional dishes.
Decent range of oriental and eastern foods mostly, as well as some nice oriental eating ware. Friendly staff. Downstairs in the Parade
Range of genuine Japanese snacks and gifts. Great dried squid !
