AVOID THIS PLACE!! I have only given one star as it doesn't give you an option for zero or even a minus!! If you want school uniform for your child starting school don't hold your breath! I ordered my children's school uniform on the 9th July for starting school on 16th August was told it would be 2/3 weeks and I still haven't received it!! I'm not the only one, the queue was miles long on Monday with people in raging that they never had their kids school uniform for starting school. I have been into the shop several times to collect it as I have been promised it will be ready several times now and still absolutely nothing!! Someone had ordered their stuff online and the owner wouldn't process a refund for them when we were waiting in the queue on Monday. They were now having to go somewhere else due to him not having the stock in when it was promised to be in but he refused to give them a refund. The place is an absolute joke!! I don't know why the schools recommend the place! Please save yourself the stress and high blood pressure and use any other place other than here. The owner is rude to customers and to his staff. He lies about when your order will be in and then blames suppliers!! Yet he tells you that all the other school uniform shops use the same suppliers and I haven't heard a single complaint from anyone that has used any of the other school uniform shops. Don't waste your time or money!! You won't ever see it again and you won't see the uniform either! Please please don't use this place. I fully regret going anywhere near the place now and wish that the school hadn't put their leaflet out to all the parents recommending the place. I have notified the school along with several other parents to avoid the place and they have assured me that they will not be giving out the leaflets to recommend this place for next year. This is the 2nd year in a row that it has happened but I hadn't seen the reviews from the previous year and I went on school recommendation! Honestly wish that I never! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

DEAR OH DEAR! I've came across some incompetent companies in my time... but I'm usually not one to leave bad reviews. However Set Schoolwear is a company that deserves one and I'll never trust orders to them again they don't even deserve the 1 star I've given them. Dreadful customer service. States up to 7 days max on their website. Sadly my boy won't have his school uniform to wear on his first day at primary even though I paid for it 2 MONTHS ago!! After multiple calls to chase up order we were promised everything was in hand and delivery would be guaranteed. They lied. They took the phone off their hook! so my wife decided to visit their shop in person on the last day before term started. She stood in a massive queue for almost 2 hours in the pouring rain along with a multitude of other parents in the hope we might get the goods - but sadly for nothing. AVOID!!

Even giving this company a 1 star is a joke. Placed an order with them 23rd June for school blazer and was informed it would take 1/3 weeks contacted them after 3 weeks to be told it’s away to the embroiders and I will have it in time for school starting. I telephoned them again start of August assured I would reviewed the blazer as it was still at the embroiders. Emailed them again with no reply so I turned up at the shop in Paisley to absolute chaos of other parents not receiving their order. I spoke with the manager who just turned around and said I will have to give you a refund I told him that they should have told me weeks ago that they didn’t have my order and I could have went elsewhere, such a badly run business and a manger who hasn’t got a clue what he’s doing. Would never ever recommend them to anybody!!

I ordered the school uniform online on 7th August 2022, but the school uniform was not delivered. My child started school in August. Every time I called to ask for a refund, there were always various reasons to deceive me, either that the manager was not in the store or that the refund was ready. But months went by and still no money was paid. This is the most dishonest business I have come across in the UK for over a decade. I read the reviews online and they were really, really bad.

Avoid at all cost!! Wish I'd read the reviews before ordering. Placed an order start of July for jumpers and polo shirts. Advised 2-3 weeks for delivery. 5 weeks later still being told in emails that the order will arrive "soon" but couldn't give a date. Stopped answering my emails so I called up and cancelled my order as school was about to start. Was told my refund was being processed that day. Two weeks later they call me to say my order is ready to be collected - by this point we're already several weeks in to school term and I've gone elsewhere for the uniform. I asked again for a refund and told it was being processed. 3rd September I called after several ignored emails, spoke to owner who apologised and said there was a mistake with my refund and he was putting it through while I was on the phone. Received an email from them confirming refund so thought this was promising. 2nd October and that refund still hadn't hit my bank. Still ignoring my emails. Pretty sure they're hoping people forget to check to make sure they receive their refund. Will be going in store this week to get a cash refund.

Worsted service ever. Ordered my kids school uniform at the start of June to give me plenty of time to get everything sort. After several trip to the shop and a countless amount of phone calls I finally had everything I ordered for the 18th of October. I understand there was supplier issues, but over 4 months for school uniforms is unreasonable. Can say I will ever use them again with the amount of broken promises I have had to deal with, nevermind the cost of having to buy second lots of uniform from other shop to have stuff for my kids to go to school in.

Thats the worst company!!! And unfortunately it was recommended by the school. I've placed my order in July 2022. After a few emails I got 2 out of 3 items in september. But its december now and the heavy jacket was not yet delivered even thou I called and emailed and they kept lying they will mail on "Friday". Since the last call 2 fridays passed. How are they even allowed to continue with this?????

Avoid this shop at all costs! Haseeb Ahmed is only interested in taking your money. We ordered a school blazer for our sons first day at school Despite an 'absoloute guarantee' that it would arrive before his first day, it did not. Several calls went unanswered so I went to the shop in person. The queue was out the door with parents with the same issue. No apologies, just lies that he has supplier issue. This shop also featured in the Daily Record last year for the exact same issue.

I ordered my granddaughter her uniform for school this August I was kept in touch they phoned me and let me know they were waiting on a jacket coming. I phoned yesterday and was advised the jacket was coming in on Friday the lot was delivered on the Saturday very well done happy customer.
