Really lovely little place! Great for kindling as well. There's a room of second hand furniture and clothes/shoes etc, with some really good value offerings at really affordable prices, as well as the main room full of new furniture, a really nice clothing selection and some fab locally made goodies. Stopped by a few times now, picked up a lovely brass top table for an absolute bargain as well as a few other bits of furniture. The staff were so helpful and nice. There's a lovely atmosphere, and everyone - customers and staff, is treated with respect and consideration. To top it all off, they are a charity doing great work and that really shows, very happy to support them. Would also recommend the handmade bath bombs as being well priced and a great size
Great range of furniture new & old at affordable prices. Highly recommended. We've bought half a dozen pieces from the wonderfully helpful staff and never been disappointed. I am currently writing this review from a beautiful little desk we bought that was less than £50
My husband and I have bought several items of new furniture from Seren, and some second hand items as well. Our personal experience with this shop has been extremely positive. We found everyone involved, including delivery men, extremely polite, amenable, and helpful. When one item was faulty, it was replaced without quibble and a replacement delivered promptly. We can confidently say that we have found Seren to be an excellent shop, and its reassuring that things which are sold here are helping a Charity. We would strongly recommend that anyone who is in the vicinity visit this shop and decide for themselves what it's really like: Its well worth a visit!
Had a dresser and table delivered an hour late. Although the table was light and the gentleman helped me move it up, he told me to bring the dresser up myself as he couldn't due to 'health and safety' and just left it there for me to take up the stairs without letting me having a say in it. I almost fell over trying to bring the dresser up by myself and I'm quite frustrated over it - I'm paying for a delivery which includes labor, I'm not paying to potentially hurt myself.
A load of miserable staff, rude , snappy and hostile. If they just relied on profit I'm sure they'd be closed by now . As they receive government, taxpayers money they seem not to care about customer service. Plenty of other places to shop. We will NOT be visiting here again. Despite being polite they are constantly rude, hostile , arrogant and unpleasant. Needs new management / new staff .
