We booked a cocktail making class for my friends Hendo on Saturday. It was absolutely amazing! The bar was set up when we got there with a welcome drink and Sam assisted us the whole evening, and he was amazing for putting up with us!. The choice of cocktails was really good, lots of options and to be able to go behind the bar to make the cocktails in pairs was great! Such a good experience!.. Sam you really made our evening, thank you!
I’ve been coming here for years n year and have always had a good time. Excellent margaritas. This time we tried the sharing platter for two. Definitely large enough. The restaurant happily packed up what we had left and ever threw in extra condiments Top stuff
Nice food. Very slow service. We were there for nearly 3 hours. Advise to the lads behind the bar, when people are waiting too long for their drinks Don't mess about throwing bits of lemon at each other. Makes people more annoyed at the waiting time. Waitresses were attentive and friendly and looked like they spent a lot of time waiting for the bar lads. Food was tasty though.
We were booked in for 5pm Friday 19th august we were looked after by a very polite young blonde haired lady can’t remember her name sorry we chose to have a starter which we should have avoided but we were starving so we smashed the starter which was nacho sharer and it was amazing! My friend had the chilli for her main and I got to try some of the meat and it was faultless melting in ur mouth. She ordered a portion of chips which was huge I had the burrito and fries and it was lovely again huge side of twister fries. Portions are big so we didn’t really need the starter but it was all beautiful. Another place I always visit when I am in Newquay
Honestly one of the BEST meals I have EVER had! I had a Chimichanga for my main...never had one of those before and only know what they are because of Gordon's 'Kitchen Nightmares'. It arrived, looked delicious and tasted even better. I had it with cajun chicken, which was stringy and succulent, just how it should be. The tortilla wrap was crispy, and the flavours in there were fantastic! The rice was cooked to perfection and had a slight kick with the spice, but it was not too hot, it was just right. Overall an extremely delicious dish. I then ordered a honeycomb cheesecake for dessert. The presentation of it was pretty, and the sweetness of the cake was spot on. The biscuit layer was also very nice. Our waitress, who unfortunately I wasn't able to get the name of, provided an excellent service. Speed of service was great, not slow but not too rushed either. She was polite and smiley too. Young woman with long blonde hair. Overall a faultless and phenomenal experience, I would definitely return here in the future and I would highly recommend dining here for anyone looking to go to a nice restaurant.
Food was okay and the staff was very friendly. However, we would have expected guacamole and sour cream to be included with both the quesadillas and the enchiladas - w/o ordering this separately. And more queso. Quite expensive. No coffee available.
Lovely Mexican place to eat. Inside decor is really cool. Food portions were large and tasty! Pricing was on the high side, soft drinks £4. And main meals were £15-£20 but very nice place to eat.
Absolutely amazing! All the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was so good. We had the meat taster platter for two and there was so much on there we were certainly full by the end. I also had a cocktail which was nice and well presented.
Just visiting Newquay and this is quite possibly the best thing about it. We’re here just for the day and this has extended our stay by an hour or so. The food is amazing. Honestly, amazing. Vegetarian and gluten free options but not for me as I had the 3 street tacos with shredded chicken. The other meals I’ve been assured by the wife and child were equally great. The environment is lovely and relaxed, nice music but not too loud. The only thing better than the food was the service. Very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely come again next time we come to Newquay.
Staff seemed friendly but some walked around like they did not want to be there, the decor seems tired and for such a small amount of tables and the amount of staff the service was not that quick. The starters fire fairly generic and disappointing, they seemed like the sort you would buy from a supermarket and cook in the oven at home. Main meals were slightly disappointing, the general flavours were not the best I have had. In the burrito all you could taste was cheddar cheese and the rice seemed like something you would microwave in a bag. The pricing is on the high side for the quality of the food, you are lookibg at £8-10 for the starters and £15+ for the mains.
