I suggest avoiding this accommodation at all costs. I strongly believe that the walls, floor and ceiling are made out of cardboard. You can hear every step that your flat-mates and the people above and below you make. It's extremely aggravating as I've resorted to plugging in earphones almost the entire time I'm present in my room. I usually go to the library, the PG study-zone, or even to a friend's place to get some peace of mind. Maybe I was cursed with terrible people around me minus the one amazing flat-mate I have, but all this could've been avoided had concrete been used to construct these buildings. Also, there's no point about complaining to reception about noise past 11pm as blatantly brush it off, asking you to contact security instead. Now the location is extremely convenient city centre 15 minutes away, ABACWS, ENCAP, Business School, etc. all a mere 10-20 minutes away, but the disturbance nullifies the positives for me. I'd look into booking private accommodations. They would definitely have less of an ordeal.
Stayed here over summer and honestly just a depressing place to live. Tiny rooms and kitchens, always damp, no space in the cupboards and fridge, loads of rats across the grounds. Over summer there were multiple break ins across the grounds and the whole accomodation felt very unsafe. A lack of community here. I payed so much money to stay here and wish I never had gone through the trouble.
My child is happy here despite it being the 2nd to last choice 8/10 from the selections made.nClean, with well fitted bedroom, bathroom and kitchen.nEasy walk to University and city centre.
My home. My most favorite place in this entire world.
Looks like a prison, badly designed with a very long walk from the car park when delivering your student! Kitchen is small, no space for socialising. Daughter spent a year here says it’s always too hot in the rooms.
