My family really enjoyed a short break in an area of Scotland we love. We stayed at the Old Exchange just to escape for a few days. The accommodation is very tidy and comfortable, with lovely views over the gentle farmland that surrounds the accommodation. Very very nice and enjoyable self catering in Scotland

Self catering in Scotland does not get better than this ! There are 4 accommodations at the Old Exchange and we rented 2 of them so that both my friends family and my own could have a week together. It worked really well, because although we were close to each other, we both had independance from each other. I would recommend this self catering accommodation to any groups of families that want to meet together on a holiday in Scotland. And the beaches were fantastic !

Self Catering Scotland - We have just returned from a lovely break at the Old Exchange and have had a really enjoyable time. The accommodation is clean and perfectly designed for self catering use, the location is very convenient for exploring this part of the country and I have fallen in love with Castle Douglas. The folk are friendly, the food is excellent and the park in the middle of town is so pretty. If you are looking for self catering in Scotland I would imagine that the Old Exchange is perfect for you.

Self Catering Scotland Had a really nice holiday at the Old Exchange. The accommodation was the best self catering in Scotland we have had. Clean, contemorary and elegant. We found that there were many things to see and do in this lovely part of Scotland. We especially liked the Red Kite feeding station which is just a few miles from the accommodation.

Had a really enjoyable stay at the Old Exchange holiday cottages in Scotland. We booked the accommodation just before Christmas, and had a lovely time. The cottages were decorated so it really felt special, and the owner had left us a bottle of bubbly. If you are looking for holiday cottages in Scotland then I would highly reccommend this accommodation on the outskirts of Castle Douglas in Dumfries and Galloway, South West Scotland
