Staff is always very friendly and go above and beyond for you in this store! This has been my experience on multiple occasions. Staff has even helped me load my car when it was raining heavily outside. Thank you so much!
Kept waiting for over 10 mins when there was an abundance of workers doing nothing, except chatting away amongst themselves.Abysmal customer service in this regard. The lady at the till, when i was finally served, was knowledgable and helpful.
Waiting for 17 minutes now for a return. Been told to wait. Staff talking between them,one on the phone for a personal matter and other on personal mobile phone. Very unhelpful staff. Perhaps Selco should close the shop and keep it for their own workmates to socialise. "Stay Away Attitude" was in training before any Social Distancing was in place.
Very nice staff easy to get on with polite with good house keeping
Some people, especially tradesmen, say they have the best prices. Although on some products for home refurbishments they have better prices, do check the other stors as well. If you are not familiar with Selco and are purchasing privately, prices on display are without VAT. The reason for 2 stars though: half the time there is no staff whatsoever to help you and if you do find someone, most of the time they can't advise confidently. So unless you are not a tradesman, take them with a pinch of salt.
Decent store has got what you need. All you need to get the staff to help… is To ask for help.

Worst place I have ever shopped. Everyone is too busy to help point you to their items. I wanted to pickup few push fit accessories which was locked away, I keep getting sent around to who might have the keys to open the cabinet, turns out I have to get it from the cashier who was checking me out, she had to stop half way to open the cabinet make matters worst she didn't have time to wait she told me she had to close it back now that's even before I finished picking up the items I wanted, because she has to return to her till as the que was getting longer. I won't be shopping there ever again
Worst attitude I've seen by staff. This guy was lecturing me about data protection. First says you need a receipt then says they can't reprint one because of data protection. Why can't selco hire people with a bit more intelligence.
Short staffed, the staff that are there are useless and don't help. Seriously the worst branch in the UK. The owners really need to go under cover and see how this place is being run and sort it out!
